Christmas this year seemed to be a difficult one for a number of my friends
and their families including ours, as we all had a family member pass away.
For me it was a time of reflecting on the past and the present;
a time to enjoy and treasure family and friends.

Birds, birds, birds......

Hello my beautiful friends....I've missed you!
It has been a busy last few weeks trying to keep up with
cleaning, yard work and guests coming and going to the cottage.
As guests were getting ready to say goodbye one morning
a bird flew into one of our windows, Al picked it up and it
sat on his finger for such a long time.

Guests that were staying with us.
They were amazed how relaxed the bird was.

So why not try something different!
Fresh Fruit Glaze.

Try adding granola for garnish.

Garden tour

I thought I would give you a little tour around my garden.
It seems like every time I go and take a look there is something
else in bloom
Today I thought I would start with the front garden.
Meet the smallest member of our family, Milo....
he loves to have his picture taken.

A very good long time friend came for a visit
and brought me these beautiful flowers.
