Family is Special!

Good evening friends, I had a great day it was sooo nice out! the sun shone all day...
there was no rain!! Now I thought I would spend the evening with you sharing a little
bit about my life and how I ended up where I am today.

Yes this is exactly what you are thinking. I am a twin and this is one of our baby pictures.
We were raised by our grand parents in a small town of just a few thousand people.
Now I don't know how you would feel if you were always dressed like your sister but we hated it!
And that's because we wanted to be individuals, can't say we were very close either...
too busy trying to be different.

But you know it's amazing how the years change you because we don't mind dressing alike now
and are even known to show up at Church and other events waring the same thing.
We have grown a lot closer over the years but in 2006 is when we were really drawn together.
I was having surgery done on the discs in my neck when something went terribly wrong.
I woke up paralyzed!.... the surgeon had damaged my spinal cord leaving me with no
mobility in my legs or my hands.
Psalm 145:2 Everyday I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever.
The story doesn't end there because I wasn't about to just give up and I don't
think my family would have let me anyway....

Tick Tock...

This clock is just one of many that I now am collecting... by accident. I went to a garage sale and fell in love with...well lets just say a lot of clocks too many to choose from so I pretty much bought them all and what a steal! Some of them were only $5 this one was $8 see what I mean?
A couple more dolls from my daughter Megan's collection
Hanging up on the wall is my Christening Gown.
We have had so many birds this past week that its been hard keeping all the feeders filled. My son Dayne started snapping pictures of the birds fighting for position at the feeder one day, so when it came to picking out a couple of them to show you...boy was it hard! These birds are "Evening Grosbeak".
